“Elela” is a Tsonga word which means “to see clearly”. The Tsonga are an ethnic group in South Africa, and Elela is used as a girl’s name. We have chosen the name, not only for the beauty of its sound, but also because it expresses our mission so well.

We have more than ten years experience in tourism and the non-profit sector in Southern Africa, and we look forward to supporting you professionally in your planning of a “different” holiday.

Our programs are designed to give you a deeper insight into the country, and help you to actively experience “wild life” in Southern Africa. Once immersed in the wilderness, you will notice how you gradually gain distance from your daily life, start to observe your surroundings more intensively with your senses, and experience yourself anew, gaining clarity and insight.

At the same time, we would like to give something back to the world together with you. We know our partners and their projects personally and we guarantee that you will be supporting real and sustainable wildlife and community projects.
